The extraordinary congress of delegates for the first term (2025-2030) was held by the Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association today, December 6.

In his leadership role, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dao said that Ho Chi Minh City has a population of nearly 14 million, accounting for 13.4% of the country's population, with an estimated GRDP per capita in 2025 of 220 million VND (about 9,000 USD), 1.5 times higher than the general level.
This scale and potential create many opportunities for the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association, not only in terms of geography and economy , but also opening up development momentum for industries, including advertising.
The advertising industry is one of 12 cultural industry groups under Decision 2466, with a target of reaching a revenue of 3.2 billion USD by 2030. This year alone, Statista data shows that the industry has reached 2.9 billion USD, showing great room for growth.
Through the consensus of the executive committee, the orientation for the 2025-2030 term focuses on promoting digital transformation.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, congratulated and expressed his confidence in the development process of the Vietnam Advertising Association.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Advertising Association, emphasized that the expansion of Ho Chi Minh City's boundaries opens up new opportunities but also places greater responsibility on the Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association.
