The Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin at all levels in Can Tho City mobilized over 32.4 billion VND.

Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Nga, President of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Can Tho City, awarded the certificate of gratitude for the golden heart "For Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin" to 2 individuals who have made many contributions to the cause of caring for and helping Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin.

In the period of 2022-2025, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Can Tho City at all levels has closely followed the policies and plans directed by the Central Government, the City Party Committee, and the City People's Committee to develop operating regulations, thoroughly grasp and implement them; inspection and supervision work has been strengthened. From 2023 to the first quarter of 2025, the Association at all levels mobilized organizations, agencies, businesses, places of worship and individuals to support over 32.4 billion VND. Thereby, the Association at all levels implemented programs to care for and help Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin such as building and repairing 80 houses; subsidizing 713 red addresses; supporting interest-free capital and converting it into special subsidies for 204 Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin; awarding 620 scholarships and school supplies; presenting 52,920 gifts on holidays and Tet; presented 162 health insurance cards to members and caregivers of victims in difficult circumstances; supported wheelchairs, rocking chairs, Honda motorbikes, bicycles, vocational training... for 208 victims. The Association at all levels also mobilized the construction of 6 rural traffic bridges, presented 200 family medicine cabinets and supported victim care activities in 43 localities implementing the Community model of caring for victims of Agent Orange.

To complete the Resolution of the Congress for the 2022-2027 term, the Executive Committee of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Can Tho City agreed to continue to improve the organization of the Associations of communes and wards by implementing the tasks and targets of the Resolution of the Congress and the policies and plans assigned by the Central and the City; research and innovate the activities of the Association in the direction of promoting the sense of responsibility of the Association's staff, the participation of members, victims, victims' families, and the community to improve the quality of the Association's activities and the lives of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin. At the same time, continue to promote the emulation movement "For Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin", striving to complete and exceed the targets set by the Resolution of the Congress...
