Economic zones and industrial parks in the area attract many large projects.

HNN.VN - On October 3, a representative of the city's Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board informed that the unit is currently attracting many large projects to the area; from now until the end of 2025, it will call for 6 new projects, with a total investment capital of about 10,000 billion VND.

Investment in construction of wharf No. 5 of Chan May port

Of which, there is the project of wharf No. 6, Chan May port with registered capital of 928.7 billion VND; the project of investment, construction and business of infrastructure of industrial park (IP) No. 2 with total capital of 1,845 billion VND; the project of infrastructure of IP of duty-free zone (KPTQ) No. 1 with capital of 1,452.2 billion VND; the project of infrastructure of IP, KPTQ No. 2 Chan May with capital of 2,325 billion VND; and the project of La Son IP expansion with total capital of 3,075 billion VND.

From the beginning of 2025 to now, the City Economic and Industrial Zone Management Board has newly granted 18 investment projects with a total registered capital of 1,372.4 billion VND, notably the Social Housing Project in Chan May with a capital of 578.4 billion VND. At the same time, 27 projects have had their investment certificates adjusted, of which 6 projects have increased/decreased capital with a total increase of 21,312 billion VND. In particular, the Kim Long Motor Hue Production and Assembly Complex Project has increased its capital by 21,178 billion VND. It is expected that in 2025, the capital for implementing projects in economic zones and industrial parks will reach about 9,000 billion VND, an increase of 78.2% over the same period, reaching 150% of the plan.

Up to now, the city's economic zones and industrial parks have 192 valid projects with registered capital of VND 142,234 billion, including 55 FDI ​​projects with more than VND 75,769 billion. Of these, 114 projects have come into operation (accounting for 59.3%), 62 projects are implementing investment and construction procedures (accounting for 32.3%). The accumulated capital realized to date has reached about VND 48,298 billion.

The above figures show that Hue is increasingly attractive to domestic and foreign investors, contributing to creating a strong driving force for local socio-economic development in the coming time.
