This morning (March 22), at Mieu Mon airport, the Ministry of National Defense organized a joint training session for armed forces participating in the parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.

Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army - Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong attended and directed the joint training at Mieu Mon airport, Hanoi .

Previously, the Ministry of National Defense approved the project to organize a parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

The parade was held on the morning of May 7, 2024 after the rally at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, including four forces: artillery force, air force flying salute, parade force, and force standing on the field with more than 12,000 people.

According to the latest information, the parade block (including 4 honor guard blocks, 24 army blocks, militia and self-defense forces, and police) and the parade block (including 9 veteran blocks, youth volunteers, frontline workers, workers, farmers, intellectuals, youth, women, and ethnic groups in the Northwest) and finally the performance of the art block.

The program will begin with 21 rounds of fireworks to the Vietnamese national anthem. This will be followed by a performance by 9 helicopters carrying the Party and national flags flying over the stage.
