In particular, the Politburo recently agreed in principle to amend Resolution No. 15-NQ/TƯ dated May 5, 2022, the Law on the Capital City in 2024, and to develop a master plan for the Capital City with a 100-year vision. The National Assembly also passed a Resolution on piloting some specific mechanisms and policies to implement large and important projects in the Capital City.
These are crucial political and legal foundations for Hanoi to realize its vision and aspirations for developing the capital city in the new era.

Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that these results demonstrate the strong vitality and unity of the entire political system and the people of Hanoi, including the valuable contributions of religious organizations.

According to the City Party Secretary, through their doctrines and religious laws, religions have contributed to shaping morality and lifestyles, building cultural life, preserving traditional customs, and combating social evils. Many religious followers are successful entrepreneurs, making positive contributions to the budget, creating jobs, and contributing practically to social welfare, charity, and humanitarian activities. They are an important source of social resources and increase the spread of the spirit of compassion in the community. Notable contributions include: donating land for road construction, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, and upholding moral values.

Many religious institutions, clergy, officials, monks, followers, and religions are shining examples in the movement to respond to climate change, protect the environment, beautify the landscape, contribute to maintaining security and order, and ensure socio-political stability. Through these activities, religious organizations clearly demonstrate their role as a bridge to expand foreign relations between the Party, the State, and the people.
"On behalf of the city's leadership, I respectfully acknowledge and express my deepest gratitude for the responsible and heartfelt contributions of the religious leaders and followers in the capital," said City Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
On this occasion, City Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc urged religious leaders to continue upholding the tradition of protecting the nation and ensuring the well-being of the people, serving their religion and loving the country, and adhering to the principles of religion, nation, and socialism. They should become a bridge in strengthening national unity, fostering social consensus, and strictly implementing the Law on Beliefs and Religions and guiding documents from all levels of government regarding religious activities. Through this, they should encourage followers of all religions to live virtuous lives, work alongside the city in building a green, clean, and beautiful capital, a smart city, and actively participate in digital transformation, modernization of religious management, and social welfare work in the capital.
