The exchange program to learn about musical instruments with the theme of Holding the guitar on the musical staffs organized by the Tinh tang + group (a group of young people working for traditional Vietnamese music ), took place on April 9, at the coffee complex and creative office The Xoay (203/38A Dang Thuy Tram, Ward 13, Binh Thanh District, HCMC).
Stemming from their love for music, young people who are studying and making music built the project "Holding the Guitar on the Musical Staff" with the desire to bring a free space for young people who love musical instruments to connect, listen, temporarily put aside their thoughts, and pick up the guitar to play.
The organizers shared that the project, with its core spirit, provides a space that encourages the spirit of "dare to try" and "try new things" in music, evoking inspiration from Vietnamese materials, present in the form of sounds that are both strange and familiar to young people.
The program had the participation of musician Tran Manh Hung (Military University of Culture and Arts), Master Mai Thanh Son (lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music) who shared about their musical language and music genres such as: symphony chamber music, indigenous sounds such as the sounds of the cultural regions of the Northwest, Champa, the ancient capital of Hue and the Central Highlands...
