Faced with the complicated flood situation taking place in Khanh Hoa province, many areas were isolated, heavily flooded, and at risk of affecting people's lives and property, the Naval Academy proactively coordinated with local authorities to mobilize nearly 100 officers and students to help people; 4 cars of various types, 2 motorboats and many equipment, materials and necessities regularly went to people in flood-affected areas, areas that were heavily flooded, isolated and cut off.

In just a short time, the academy's forces were present in many areas that were deeply flooded and had strong currents, coordinating with local forces to evacuate the elderly, children, and pregnant women to safe gathering places; and bringing necessities to each isolated residential area.
Rear Admiral Nguyen Huu Thoan, Political Commissar of the Naval Academy, said: Immediately after receiving the request from the locality to support people to leave the heavily flooded areas, isolated due to prolonged rain and floods. We determined that the task of protecting people's lives and property is the top priority. The forces clearly identified the task, determined to act quickly, promptly help people leave the isolated areas and provide necessary food for the people.

Recorded in the area of Thuy Suong village, Phu Hau, Nghiep Thanh, Suoi Hiep commune, where the water level was sometimes more than 2 meters, many cadres and students had to immerse themselves in the cold, fast-flowing water to reach each isolated household. Each rescue boat trip carried 4-6 people; sometimes cadres and students had to wade, help the elderly through deep water, find ways to avoid the fast-flowing water to bring people out of the isolated area in the safest way.
In particular, there was a trip to evacuate people, on the boat at that time there were 4 people, including 2 small children, at that time the weather was heavy rain, deep water, strong wind, limited visibility, unfortunately a 3-year-old child fell out of the boat, comrade Tu, an academy officer, promptly jumped down to hug the child, and brought him safely onto the boat.

As of the morning of November 21, the Naval Academy's forces had helped hundreds of households, bringing more than 300 people out of the danger zone to safety; supporting people with 40 kg of dry food, 130 boxes of instant noodles, 100 boxes of filtered water and many other rescue materials worth more than 80 million VND.
