The report at the Congress showed that, during the past term, the Fatherland Front of Dan Phuong district has proactively innovated and diversified propaganda forms, applied information technology to mobilize, gather, grasp the people's situation, consolidate and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc in the area.

Along with that, improve the quality of implementing emulation movements and campaigns, mobilize people's resources, raise citizens' social awareness, and well implement President Ho Chi Minh 's teaching "using people's strength to build people's lives".

Over the past 5 years, the district’s Fatherland Front at all levels has mobilized over 10,339 billion VND to support the “For the Poor” Fund, the “For Vietnam’s Seas and Islands” Fund and social security funds. Social security activities, care for the poor and social policy beneficiaries have been implemented more and more systematically and effectively. Up to now, the district has no more poor households.

Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city, spoke at the Congress.

In particular, the district has effectively implemented the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", developing the rural economy associated with preserving and promoting traditional cultural values in the construction of new rural areas. Accordingly, the whole district has mobilized people to contribute over 10 billion VND in socialized funds, 27,175 working days, donated 1,090m2 of agricultural land, 454m2 of residential land to expand and renovate village roads and alleys. The appearance of the countryside has changed, bright - green - clean - beautiful, contributing to building Dan Phuong district as the "leading flag" - the first district of the city to meet the model new rural standards.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong congratulated and commended the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dan Phuong district; at the same time, respectfully acknowledged and thanked the people of Dan Phuong district for responding, supporting and making efforts to implement the city's policies and the action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city in the past term.

Noting that in 2024 and the following years, the country and the capital will continue to face many difficulties and challenges, requiring the joint efforts of the entire political system and all classes of people, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi emphasized a number of key tasks. In particular, the top task of the Dan Phuong District Front is to build, consolidate and strengthen the great national unity bloc, ensure high consensus and unity in ideology and action; propagate and mobilize people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's and the city's policies and laws; clearly demonstrate the spirit of the Front accompanying the Party Committee and the government in all work.

Immediately after the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front of Dan Phuong district urgently disseminated and implemented the Resolution and Action Program of the Congress in conjunction with the dissemination and effective implementation of Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy. Taking the ideology of "people are the root" as the core foundation for the activities of Front officials at all levels; continuing to be more closely connected with the grassroots, promptly grasping the thoughts, aspirations, and situations of the people to promptly and fully advise and make recommendations to the Party Committee and the government on solutions to create sustainable consensus among the people right from the grassroots level...", Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong stated.

Along with promoting the role of the Front and its member organizations in listening to and absorbing people's opinions, the Fatherland Front of Dan Phuong district needs to raise awareness, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, not be lenient, avoid and regularly and more resolutely carry out the work of supervision, social criticism, fighting and preventing corruption and waste to truly meet the expectations of the people and the expectations of society.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Creativity - Development", the Congress conducted democratic consultation and elected the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dan Phuong district, term XX, consisting of 55 delegates. Ms. Pham Thi Kim Oanh was elected as Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dan Phuong district. The Congress also elected 6 delegates to attend the 18th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi city, term 2024-2029.
