MSI has announced its collaboration with OKADAYA, a renowned Japanese lacquer painting company, to launch the Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition laptop. This 13-inch laptop has just received the COMPUTEX Best Choice Award.

Inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's classic woodblock print "The Great Wave off Kanagawa," this laptop recreates the original painting's bold lines, bold colors, and three-dimensional effects, breaking the boundaries of traditional art to blend with modern technology.

The product features an authentic traditional lacquer technique consisting of 8 layers of coating in 5 steps, using pure gold leaf powder on each machine. The company said this limited edition starts with the first 300 machines sold globally from July, including the Vietnamese market. The price may be about 20% higher than the regular version.

This unique design shows MSI's efforts in creating products that not only focus on powerful performance but also enhance aesthetics through unique design.

The device impresses with its weight of only 0.99 kg and thickness of 16.9 mm. The performance of the device can be customized with the highest version being a powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor, LPDDR5 RAM up to 32 GB for effective multitasking.

The screen uses a 2.8K resolution OLED panel, 13.3 inches in size, DCI-P3 color standard, VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 500 for true color display. The hinge of the machine can open 180 degrees. The 75 Wh battery capacity is quite large in the segment.

Following the success of last year's collaborative products, MSI continues to pursue a luxurious gaming style at COMPUTEX 2025, strengthening its partnership with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport. To expand this product line, this year the company introduced two new laptops: Stealth A16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG Motorsport and Prestige 16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG Motorsport.

The Stealth A16 AI+ is available in both Intel and AMD versions, with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, delivering powerful performance and a top-notch visual experience. Meanwhile, the Prestige 16 AI+ is powered by an Intel processor, featuring an impressive 4K OLED display, delivering sharp and vivid display quality.

Both products feature a unique design, using the AMG logo and motifs, emphasizing the premium gaming experience, accompanied by a laptop, mouse and mouse pad with similar motifs, demonstrating the common spirit of MSI and Mercedes-AMG.

MSI also announced that it has equipped the latest RTX 50 series on its latest laptop models, such as the Crosshair and Cyborg lines. In addition, the laptop company also introduced a new design concept for its business and office lines. These new generation laptops have a minimalist, seamless design, and are also the thinnest laptops MSI has ever created, with a thickness of only 13.9mm.

The new laptops come in both 2-in-1 and traditional clamshell designs, and come with premium OLED displays that support styluses for a more intuitive and convenient experience. They are also optimized to run all day without needing to be charged, helping users maintain continuous productivity. The design is expected to support Intel’s next-generation processor platform, codenamed Panther Lake, which promises powerful performance and superior AI processing capabilities.
