On May 5, 2025, VinFast announced the launch of the EB 6 small electric bus line and a school bus version that can integrate advanced monitoring technologies to ensure maximum safety.

VinFast small electric buses are a strategic product in the process of greening urban transport, contributing to promoting green transformation in the transport industry while improving the standards and quality of travel services for people.

VinFast's new electric bus line has dimensions of Length x Width x Height of 6,200 x 2,200 x 2,900 (mm), with a minimum ground clearance of 180mm when fully loaded, suitable for operating conditions in large cities and inter-provincial areas.

The car is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum capacity of 140kW, maximum torque of 420Nm, rear-wheel drive, with a maximum speed of 90 km/h. With a 179.5 kWh LFP battery pack, the new VinFast EB 6 2025 can travel more than 250km after each full charge.

Charging time from 20% to 80% battery within 70 minutes, with a maximum DC fast charging capacity of 120kW. The vehicle is equipped with front/rear disc brakes and advanced safety technologies such as anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (BA), electronic balance (ESC), anti-skid on slopes (ASF)...

VinFast EB 6 has two versions including urban electric bus and school bus, using the same design platform, chassis and engine. The most basic difference between the two versions is the seat arrangement and interior space, along with the equipment and technology integrated on the vehicle suitable for each type of service.

Specifically, the urban electric bus version is equipped with 11 seats for passengers, 1 seat for wheelchairs, 1 seat for the driver and 17 standing seats, with a total capacity of 30 people, accompanied by standard equipment for bus operation such as handles, exit buttons...

Meanwhile, the version of the vehicle that transports students or can be used as an inter-provincial passenger vehicle has a capacity of 20 people, including 19 seats for passengers and 1 seat for the driver, equipped with seat belts for each seat and a number of amenities and technologies suitable for practical needs.

These equipment can include: first aid kits; driver area surveillance cameras; 21-inch LED screens with controllers; air purifiers and in-car air quality sensors; attendance and warning systems to ensure that students are not left behind in the vehicle; or applications for parents, students, and payment and point accumulation applications...

GSM Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company will be the official distributor of VinFast electric bus products. According to the plan, the small urban electric bus version will officially be launched in September 2025, ready to serve the green transition to electric vehicles of bus companies nationwide. A month later, in October 2025, the electric school bus version will also be available on the market.

In parallel with the vehicle distribution, GSM is also expected to provide the first all-electric student transportation service with safety standards and premium services in Vietnam for schools andeducational institutions nationwide. The package service will include vehicles, drivers, student managers, and an advanced safety monitoring system S2S (Secure to Safe) integrated on the vehicle, providing a prestigious, safe and reliable choice.

The combination of VinFast's high-end electric buses and GSM's professional services promises to help improve the quality of public passenger transport services and create a new look for Vietnam's urban transport in the near future.
