According to the Criminal Techniques Department, recently, the unit received requests for appraisal of powder in plastic packages labeled "White Coffee", "Coffee House"... Through appraisal, it was determined that the above coffee-like packages contained the drugs MDMA, Methamphetamine, Ketamine and Nimetazepam.
Notably, Nimetazepam is the first synthetic drug discovered in the city.
The criminals' trick is to use many different types of drugs mixed and packaged in the form of food and drinks.
Visually observe the products with packaging, labels, colors and powder scents like commonly used convenient coffees. Users just need to mix this powder with water and use it like soft drinks or coffee.
The Criminal Techniques Department recommends that when intentionally or unintentionally using this type of water, the above mentioned drugs will directly affect the central nervous system, causing strong hallucinations and can lead to other illegal acts or falling into a coma, unconsciousness, and possibly death.
At the same time, it is recommended that police units and localities direct professional teams and ward and commune police to be proactive in identifying and propagating to people to raise vigilance for prevention and suppression.
