Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh said that this year's Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, themed "Danang - The new rising era," is the longest and largest-scale fireworks festival in the history of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

This year's festival is not only a top-notch, emotionally charged experience of light technology, art, and music, but also a symphony celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country.
“This is an opportunity for us to affirm our aspirations and determination to rise, a chance for Da Nang to assert its position as the ‘leading city of events and festivals in Asia’ and continue to attract international friends to a dynamic, creative, and friendly Da Nang.”
Da Nang City is facing a new development opportunity with a larger space and greater resources. To encourage and acknowledge the efforts of the two fireworks teams participating in the Opening Night of DIFF 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025, presented commemorative plaques to the Da Nang (Vietnam 1) and Finland fireworks teams.
