Beware of distorted arguments about the lean revolution

BHG - Our country is strongly entering the era of self-improvement, along with the revolution of streamlining the apparatus of the political system, merging administrative units at all levels. This is an extremely correct policy and a major turning point to create a breakthrough and development for the country. In the face of our country's determination to innovate, hostile forces always seek to sabotage with malicious arguments. Thereby, it requires each citizen, especially cadres and party members to raise their vigilance, actively identify, fight, and reject the wrong and hostile views of hostile forces.

The revolution of streamlining the apparatus of the political system and the merger of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels and not at the district level is being carried out with great trust and support from all walks of life. We can clearly see the positive impacts of the revolution that the Party and the Government are leading and promoting. The head of the Party, General Secretary To Lam, has repeatedly emphasized that all benefits from this revolution belong to the people, for the people and the development of the nation. The resources saved from streamlining the administrative apparatus will serve the goal of national development. At the same time, after having a streamlined apparatus, it will create momentum for the country's transformation in the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.

However, in recent days, on social networks, pages and groups, we can identify the arguments of hostile forces that continuously use reactionary tones such as "Sometimes merging, sometimes separating or just separating and merging to make the people suffer". There have appeared subjects with social network accounts and many articles that oppose the policies of our Party and State. Reactionary subjects believe that streamlining is just a superficial form, creating opportunities to run for seats and power. More dangerously, they distort that merging and streamlining the apparatus is a subjective, personal will or... streamlining is to fight for power, fight internally, and destroy each other. Thereby, their plot is to defame the regime, lower the role of our Party and State, and at the same time incite negative psychology, reduce the trust of all classes of people in our revolution.

Taking advantage of our restructuring, streamlining the apparatus, and merging administrative units, many reactionary viewpoints on foreign websites have put forward opinions such as: “Along with streamlining the apparatus, this is the time for the Army and Police to reduce their forces, thereby reducing budget spending…”. This is an extremely sinister plot of hostile forces with the desire to reduce the strength of the forces protecting the Fatherland, protecting our Party and People.

Continuing with the old trick, hostile forces also took advantage of some cases of violations by leaders, cadres, and party members in the past to distort the quality of our apparatus. Thereby, they incited negative public opinion about cadres, party members, and leaders.

More dangerously, negative information has also appeared on cyberspace, inciting ethnic discrimination, local and regional discrimination when merging local administrative units. Stemming from immediate personal interests, some people may be affected by the process of merging administrative units. From there, it leads to an uninformed mindset towards the common revolution, and there are still some ideas that are not unified. Recently, public opinion of the two provinces of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang reacted strongly to the fact that some subjects and students posted on Facebook discriminatory articles against Ha Giang people. Immediately, these ideas were reacted and condemned by public opinion on social networks; the authorities also intervened, correcting the awareness of some subjects about their speech causing discrimination and dividing solidarity.

The past time can be said to be a time when the entire political system from the Central to the local levels has focused on streamlining the apparatus and merging administrative units. More than ever, this is a suitable time, a "golden time" for us to carry out the revolution to upgrade the apparatus of the political system to be "refined, compact, strong, efficient, effective, and efficient" according to the orientation of General Secretary To Lam. This spirit is understood, clarified, and agreed upon by the entire political system and all classes of people, because we are carrying out a revolution that benefits the entire nation.

The plots and tricks of hostile forces always aim at their sole goal, which is to satisfy their resentment towards our Party and State, and to deny the Party's leadership role. More insidiously, the plots and arguments of reactionaries also aim at undermining the people's trust in the Party and State, and reducing the strength of the forces protecting the Party, the People and our country.

In reality, the social network environment has become the main spearhead of sabotage, used by reactionary elements every day to spread a lot of bad news and articles about our apparatus streamlining revolution. Many of the articles posted on the outside often appear to be information that is of an evaluative and analytical nature following the public opinion. But inside are dangerous arguments and rhetoric. Many of the articles have a "sugar-coated" appearance, but inside are full of bad intentions, which makes it easy for a group of people who lack awareness and alertness to be lured, imitated and shared, spread on social networks, creating bad public opinion during the process of merging administrative units.

On the path of national development, from practice we all realize that the national renovation process over the past 40 years under the leadership of the Party has shown its wisdom and correctness. Since then, our country has escaped the socio-economic crisis and until today, as the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong once said: Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as today. All thanks to the innovative thinking, innovative spirit, daring to think, daring to do, daring to look straight at the truth to rise up of our Party and country.

In the current context, the determination to implement Resolution 18 on streamlining the apparatus of the political system has become an urgent and strategic requirement for the future of the country. Our revolution to streamline the apparatus is an extremely correct thing, in line with development and is completely normal in countries around the world. Therefore, we need to be steadfast, unify the revolutionary goals and always uphold the spirit of alertness in the face of distorted arguments from the outside. At the same time, we also need to promptly detect and correct incorrect information and thoughts of some opportunists and people lacking awareness. From there, we can create consensus and strength to rise up for our entire nation.
