Cau Hon is a project built in the Sun Group Phu Quoc ecosystem, located in the center of Hoang Hon Sunset Town . Designed in 2 years by the Italian cultural and artistic ambassador architect in Vietnam - Mr. Marco Casamonti, Cau Hon Phu Quoc started construction on May 13, 2021 on the West bank of Hoang Hon town, Phu Quoc.

The idea of ​​building the Kissing Bridge originated from the seawall of the central beach of Sunset Town, with the purpose of blocking the waves so that visitors can swim all year round. The Kissing Bridge is up to 810m long and is built of steel with a total steel mass of up to 5,000 tons. The Kissing Bridge is not only a symbol of eternal love but also a testament to strong friendship and solidarity.

Phu Quoc Kissing Bridge is inspired by the touching story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, and will become a meeting place for couples to exchange the sweetest kisses and experience the emotions of love.

What is special about this bridge is that there is a gap of about 50 cm in the middle of the bridge, called the “Kissing Bridge”. From December 24 to January 1, the Kissing Bridge will be decorated with the image of the sunset, creating an impressive scene. This 50 cm gap is considered the distance between two people before they kiss or when they shake hands to show friendship.

The Kiss Bridge is uniquely designed based on the characteristics of this land in terms of terrain and soil. When viewed from afar, the bridge looks like a silk strip across the blue ocean, the two ends of the bridge facing each other embracing the white sand, creating a unified entity but not touching each other, like the feeling of vibration before two lovers exchange a romantic kiss.

In the future, this bridge will witness historical moments, handshakes of national leaders and international politicians .

The Kissing Bridge is specially designed based on the terrain and soil characteristics of the area, looking from afar like a winding silk thread in the deep blue ocean, with two sides rising high, embracing the white sand, facing each other and connecting into one but not touching, symbolizing the vibration of love before a romantic kiss.

At one end of the bridge is the Chang restaurant and the other is the Nang restaurant, the distance between the two sides of the bridge is about 50cm. Only on one occasion a year from December 24 to January 1, this distance will be filled with the sunset, this is the time when the Chang and Nang come here to exchange passionate kisses amidst the beautiful sunset scene.
