Presented every three years, the Innovation Leadership Achievement Award is one of the most important individual awards by The Asian Banker - Asia's leading financial services research and advisory organization. This year, the award ceremony took place within the framework of The Asian Banker's "Future of Finance Summit".
Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuong shared: "The award is not only an honor for me but also a great encouragement for my colleagues at MoMo to continue the journey of innovation because this is one of MoMo's five core values. I always understand that innovation is not simply about inventing new services or new technologies, but it is about leveraging collective potential to solve urgent challenges, create meaningful change and leave a lasting legacy. I hope that MoMo's innovative ideas will somehow inspire other companies in the fintech and banking and finance community to think bigger, dream further and embrace the endless potential of technology to better serve the Vietnamese people."
Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuong graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He holds two master's degrees in the US: Computer Science from the University at Buffalo (New York) and Business Administration from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago (Chicago). Mr. Tuong co-founded MoMo in 2010 with the vision of promoting financial inclusion in Vietnam by providing accessible and low-cost payment solutions for Vietnamese people.
