With a logical and inspiring teaching style and the ability to analyze test questions in depth, Mr. Duc has helped students: Understand the "band descriptor" - the scoring criteria for each skill; Know how to set up a study path suitable for time and personal goals; Balance between practicing test questions and practicing basic skills - a decisive factor in the sustainable IELTS learning journey.

IELTS is a tool – not a destination, take advantage of the opportunity

In an increasingly flexible and personalised world , IELTS is no longer the only way to prove English proficiency. However, for those with clear goals – to study at a quality university, study abroad, work globally – IELTS remains the top choice, thanks to its reliability, academic value and wide recognition. IELTS – International English Language Testing System – is currently the most widely accepted English certificate in the world, with more than 11,500 organisations in over 140 countries recognising it, including universities, employers and immigration authorities.

In Vietnam, IELTS is the “key”: Exemption from the high school graduation English exam, increasing the chance of passing the university entrance exam; Hunting for international scholarships, applying to study abroad at top schools; Early admission to university, especially in the fields of Economics - Law - Technology; Upgrading job application profile, especially at multinational companies.

However, instead of considering IELTS as the ultimate goal, many young people are considering it as a “milestone” in their journey of self-development. More important than the band score, learners are interested in:

● Ability to apply English in work, academics and real life.

● Critical thinking and presentation skills – factors IELTS helps develop.

● How IELTS helps “position yourself” in your academic and career profile.

It can be seen that IELTS is still a prestigious international English certificate, widely used ineducation , scholarships and employment. However, instead of being the final destination, IELTS has now become a strategic tool in the journey of academic and career development. The important thing is not whether or not to have a degree, but how learners take advantage of the IELTS test preparation process to develop their learning mindset, international communication skills and confidence in integration. As an education expert once said: "The certificate does not say who you are, but the journey to achieve it will show who you are."

So, IELTS still holds an important position, but its role has shifted from “destination” to “launching pad”.
