The tournament will take place at Dong Anh Stadium ( Hanoi ) from June 7-14 with the participation of 11 countries, including: Australia, India, Chinese Taipei, Iran, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong (China), New Zealand, Mongolia, Philippines and Vietnam.
The organizers said that the 11 teams will be divided into 2 groups, competing in a single round-robin tournament. This is a tournament with FIVB ranking points, the champion team will qualify for the 2026 Asian Women's Championship.
This is the fourth year the AVC Nations Cup has been held for teams in Group 2 of Asia. In the previous two seasons, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won the championship.

Head coach of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team Nguyen Tuan Kiet said today that the team will aim to defend the championship title of this year's tournament. To prepare, the women's volleyball team just had a training session in Quang Ninh .
Striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy shared that she has recovered from her injury and is ready for the tournament. Meanwhile, according to the Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation Tran Duc Phan, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team needs to make efforts and cannot be subjective.

This year, after the AVC Nations Cup 2025, the most important and challenging goal for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is to win the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.
