
City Inspector Tran Thi Kim Hoa visited and presented gifts of gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tu (103 years old, Binh Khuong village), and Ms. Phan Thi Hong Minh (75 years old, 1/4 grade disabled war veteran, Duy Ha village).
The City Inspector expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of mothers, heroic martyrs, and wounded soldiers for national independence; wished mothers and those who have contributed to the country a happy and healthy life, to be a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren, and a valuable source of encouragement for the cadres and people of Thang An commune to continue their efforts to build their homeland to develop more and more.

Thang An commune currently has 2,683 households of people with revolutionary contributions, including 761 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (10 mothers are still alive), 262 war invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids...
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Da Nang City has transferred 2,683 gifts in kind and more than 2.2 billion VND in cash to policy families and meritorious people in Thang An commune. The locality also allocated budget and mobilized social resources to present 77 gifts (500,000 VND/gift).
