Hanoi Fire Prevention and Rescue Police guided 20 people to escape a fire at a hotel on Thien Hien Street (Nam Tu Liem District).
On December 1, a representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that the authorities had just guided more than 20 people to escape from a hotel fire on Thien Hien Street (Nam Tu Liem District).
Specifically, at around 5:15 a.m. the same day, Call Center 114 - Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report of a fire at a hotel on Thien Hien Street.
Immediately, the Center mobilized the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Nam Tu Liem District Police, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department and the elite Land Fire Fighting and Rescue Team with 4 fire trucks, 1 ladder truck and specialized equipment to the scene to organize fire fighting and rescue.
At the scene, the authorities identified the fire as the staff lounge on the first floor and quickly approached, deployed forces and equipment to immediately extinguish the fire.
At the same time, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force also approached the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th floors, where many people were gathered, to encourage and reassure them, and urgently guide and assist those trapped to escape through the iron stairs outside the house.
At about 5:40 a.m., the fire was completely extinguished. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force protected the area, prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring areas, and guided and assisted more than 20 people to escape safely.
Currently, authorities are verifying and clarifying the cause of the fire to resolve it according to regulations.
