This year's holiday, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi) promises to become a new "virtual living coordinate", where young people and culture and travel enthusiasts can freely explore and experience the vibrant colors of the Northwest and Northeast.
Experience the Northwest Festival right in Hanoi on April 30
More than 100 village elders, artisans, and ethnic minorities from all over the Northwest and Northeast regions such as Tay, Nung, Dao, Mong, Muong, Thai, Kho Mu... gathered, creating a lively and authentic highland market atmosphere. Here, visitors not only visit more than 40 stalls of brocade, handicrafts, and traditional cuisine , but also enjoy famous specialties such as smoked buffalo meat, fermented wine, five-color sticky rice, and Pa Pinh Top grilled fish...
Many activities will be introduced during the April 30 - May 1 holiday at the "Common House" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.

The market space also "indulges" those who are passionate about experiencing by recreating folk games such as bird's nest fighting, stick pushing, bamboo pole jumping, spinning tops, swinging ropes... along with vibrant folk songs and dance performances. A highlight not to be missed is the unique art of Mong flute dance - where the flute resonates, giving wings to the thoughts and aspirations of the highland people to fly far away.
In particular, visitors will witness the traditional Gau Tao festival of the Mong people in Lai Chau province - a sacred ritual to pray for peace and love during the changing seasons; or immerse themselves in the spring colors of the Mang Ma festival of the Xinh Mun people; the De Khu Cha rainy season festival of the Ha Nhi people - rare customs in everyday life will be recreated.

With a unique check-in space, unique cultural and artistic activities, "delicious" cuisine and a series of traditional experiences, this holiday, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism is expected to become an "indispensable meeting place" in the itinerary of exploring Vietnamese culture for young people and tourists from all over the world during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
