On the evening of May 19, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City, the People's Committee of Nghe An Province and Ho Chi Minh City jointly organized the program "From Lotus Village to Ho Chi Minh City" and closed the Lotus Village Festival 2025.

This is an activity within a series of events to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An, this year's Sen Village Festival will take place nationwide, with many rich and attractive activities held in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district and Vinh city from May 4 to 19.

Besides the solemn ceremony, there is a festival with many cultural, artistic and sports activities and programs that leave a deep impression on the people and tourists.

The Lotus Village Festival originated from the mass art movement in President Ho Chi Minh's hometown and quickly spread and grew to become a national cultural festival, meeting the needs of creativity and enjoyment of cultural values ​​of people across the country.

The cultural and spiritual values ​​of the Sen Village Festival are increasingly attached to and integrated into the flow of social life, playing the role of connecting the traditional cultural and cultural source of Nghe An with the whole country.

This year's "Sen Village Singing Nationwide" mass art performance, taking place from May 16 to 19 at Nghe An Province Folk Song Theater, has the participation of 30 mass art troupes, with more than 1,000 artists, actors and artisans from provinces and cities across the country.

The artists and actors brought to the festival programs that were carefully prepared from script to choreography, sound mixing, costumes, props, etc.

The songs at the festival all expressed the spirit of excitement and responsibility with the respectful and reverent feelings of the artists and actors towards the birthday of beloved Uncle Ho.

The highlight of the closing night of the Sen Village Festival was the special art program "Ho Chi Minh - He is the belief in certain victory" directly directed and developed by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of many famous artists and actors from Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An Traditional Arts Center.

The program consists of three parts: "Ho Chi Minh - The path of the century he took"; "Ho Chi Minh - He is the belief in certain victory" and "Vietnam - Oh my Fatherland".

Through the images, documents shown in the program and songs written about Uncle Ho, the audience can see more clearly the cultural space imbued with the character of Sen Village - the land that gave birth to, nurtured, and formed his personality during his youth; the innovation and development of his homeland and country today...

The organizing committee of the national mass art festival "Sen Village Singing" awarded 36 gold medals and 62 silver medals to outstanding performances; and 20 certificates of merit to 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing the program to participate in the festival.
