Customs Branch of Region X works on supporting businesses in Ninh Binh

According to the report of Ninh Binh Customs, after nearly two months of transferring the old model to the new model, Ninh Binh Customs has implemented state management activities on customs smoothly and without interruption; has implemented tasks promptly, in accordance with the functions and tasks prescribed in Decision No. 20/QD-CHQ dated March 5, 2025 of the Customs Department.

Specifically, in the first 4 months of 2025, Ninh Binh Customs (managing import and export activities in Ninh Binh province) completed customs procedures for 214 enterprises with 31,626 declarations, an increase of 8.34% over the same period in 2024; import and export turnover was 1.872 billion USD, an increase of 3.6% over the same period in 2024, of which: export was 933 million USD, an increase of 0.54%; import was 939 million USD, an increase of 6.84%.

The state budget revenue from import and export activities of Ninh Binh Customs reached 1,800 billion VND. In the first 4 months of the year, implementing the preferential tariff program, the unit has refunded tax with a total amount of 1,736.7 billion VND.

In addition, Ninh Binh Customs always strictly maintains discipline and administrative discipline, promotes the responsibility of setting examples and being exemplary of Party members, civil servants, and employees, especially unit leaders, in performing public duties in accordance with the directives of the Party, the Government, the Ministry of Finance , the Customs Department and the Customs Sub-Department of Region X; does a good job of ideological work so that civil servants and employees in the unit can stabilize their work, maintain internal solidarity, and successfully complete assigned political tasks.

At the meeting, delegates clarified and discussed solutions to overcome difficulties when the new apparatus comes into operation such as: proposing the Information Technology Department to support the provision of monthly data to serve the work of synthesizing reports, implementing the signing of coordination regulations between Customs, Border Guard, and Ninh Binh Provincial Police to facilitate operations; monthly, Ninh Binh Customs reports directly and promptly provides data to Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee to manage the province's economic development policies.

On this occasion, the Customs Branch of Region X visited and worked with Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, one of the enterprises contributing a large amount of revenue to Ninh Binh Customs; grasped the operational situation and difficulties and problems related to the import, export and customs procedures of the Company, promptly joined hands to remove and resolve problems, support and accompany the enterprise in promoting production and business activities, contributing to building a deep and substantial Customs - Enterprise partnership.
