The main violating items were household appliances, cosmetics, fashion items of all kinds... Specifically, the inspection detected 34/38 violations, handled 6 cases; the value of the violating goods was nearly 16 million VND, administrative fines were 11.75 million VND. Of which, 7 cases were violations of smuggled goods; 6 cases were acts of counterfeit goods, goods infringing intellectual property rights; 10 cases were violations of the origin and source of goods...

In addition, through coordination with functional agencies, many violations were discovered. Typically, an inspection of a case (My Hoa ward, Long Xuyen city) discovered a facility making fake fish sauce and laundry detergent brand Hygiene (origin of Thailand) to sell to the market in large quantities. Temporarily seized goods, including: 472 plastic cans, inside containing black liquid products, smelling of fish sauce (suspected to be fish sauce); 4 barrels containing liquid products, smelling of laundry detergent, each barrel containing about 500 - 1,000 liters (suspected to be laundry detergent); 900 plastic lids; 295 white plastic cans (same type as the plastic cans containing products suspected to be fish sauce); 780 black plastic bottles (similar to the type of plastic bottles used to contain laundry detergent); 4,201 black plastic bags with foreign words, on the bags there is the word Hygiene; 2,320 white plastic bags with foreign writing, the word Hygiene on the bags; 2 filling machines...

The Economic Police Department (An Giang Provincial Police) made a record of the incident, temporarily detained goods, tools, and means of production to verify, clarify, and handle according to regulations.
