The provincial Market Management Department launched an inspection of more than 300 businesses and distributors.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Industry and Trade, on April 29, the Provincial Market Management Department launched a peak campaign to combat counterfeit and poor quality goods for food and nutritional products.

The provincial Market Management Department inspected the milk sales area at Go supermarket.

On the first day of operation, the Provincial Market Management Department inspected more than 300 businesses and distributors in all urban areas, rural areas, remote areas, promptly preventing and strictly handling acts of trading in counterfeit goods, especially products on the list of 84 dairy products seized in a large-scale fake milk production line recently dismantled.

Mr. Phan The Anh, Head of the Provincial Market Management Department, said: The inspection period will be from April 29 to May 15, 2025 on a surprise basis. The items that will be inspected during this peak period are milk, medicine, functional foods, necessities such as MSG, seasoning powder, cooking oil, etc.

After the first day of inspection and control in Ninh Binh , no counterfeit or fake goods were found in the list of recalled goods. During this peak period, the provincial Market Management Department also had businesses sign a commitment to strictly comply with the provisions of the law. This is also a solution to raise business awareness, contributing to protecting the rights of consumers.
