At the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang said that the 2025 Census faced more difficulties than previous Censuses because it fell at a time of many innovations such as: abolishing the district level, rearranging communes, and then merging provinces. Therefore, the Dong Nai Statistics Office was requested to review according to the functions, tasks, and comments of the members of the Census Steering Committee to complete the assignment of implementation of the plan.
According to Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang, up to now, some districts are still slow and have difficulty in completing the list, so it is necessary to strengthen the work to complete the first phase of the Census. According to the issued plan, there is a roadmap and implementation steps, Dong Nai Statistical Office needs to review any contents that are no longer suitable for editing.
From July 1, the district-level census steering committee will no longer exist, so the commune-level census steering committee must be reorganized. After the reorganization, the whole province will have 55 commune-level census steering committees, this content needs to be added to the plan. Contents related to the district-level steering committee, from July 1, this task must be re-determined whether it belongs to the commune-level or provincial-level steering committee... to adjust to suit the reality, ensuring the census is carried out according to the set schedule.
