On May 28, the provincial interdisciplinary inspection team led by the Department of Home Affairs inspected the work of occupational safety and hygiene at Vina Hitek Company Limited (Cau Yen Industrial Park, Ninh Phong Ward, Hoa Lu City).

Vina Hitek Co., Ltd. has been operating since 2019 with the main business line of manufacturing electronic components - manufacturing USB ports used in the automotive industry. Currently, the company has 235 employees, including 6 foreign employees.

Through document and practical inspection, the Delegation recognized that the unit has seriously implemented the contents to ensure a safe working environment for employees. Specifically: developing an annual occupational safety and hygiene plan; arranging staff to do safety work at the enterprise; establishing a network of occupational safety and hygiene officers (consisting of 7 people), promulgating the operating regulations of the occupational safety and hygiene officer network; promulgating operating procedures for equipment and machinery with strict requirements on occupational safety that the unit is using.

The enterprise has also classified workers according to working conditions as prescribed; developed a number of labor safety regulations, safe working procedures at production locations, and operating procedures for certain types of machinery and equipment to disseminate and guide workers in implementation; organized annual health check-ups for workers working at the enterprise. For normal workers, health check-ups are conducted every 12 months; provided some personal protective equipment to workers and kept a logbook, issued according to regulations...

However, through the inspection, the Delegation also pointed out the limitations and shortcomings, and at the same time provided advice and guidance so that the enterprise could have an effective solution in the shortest time. The enterprise committed to trying to overcome and repair in the coming time to further improve the work of ensuring occupational safety and hygiene in the unit.
