Announcing the certified trademark "Cuc Phuong Golden Flower Tea"

Representative of Nho Quan District People's Committee awarded Certificate of right to use the trademark "Cuc Phuong Golden Flower Tea" to representatives of enterprises and households.

Attending the event were representatives of the Department of Science and Technology; leaders of Nho Quan district; leaders of People's Committees of communes and towns in the area; representatives of businesses and households producing and trading Cuc Phuong Golden Flower Tea.

The international name of the yellow camellia tree of Cuc Phuong is Camellia Cucphuongensis Ninh & Rosmans, it grows and develops in the Cuc Phuong National Park (Nho Quan district). This is a small woody plant, about 2-5m high, with single leaves, alternate, serrated edges, and yellow flowers growing alone on the leaf stalks.

In Nho Quan, many types of yellow camellia are being preserved and grown. Among them is Cuc Phuong camellia. It can be seen that the potential economic and social value that Cuc Phuong yellow camellia brings to Nho Quan land is enormous. The tree grows well, suitable for the climate and soil conditions here, helping people quickly convert crops that bring high economic value, contributing to creating new jobs, increasing income, and improving life.

However, the Cuc Phuong Camellia tree and its products are still very new. Therefore, in order to identify the brand, develop a sustainable economy and protect the interests of local people and consumers, it is necessary to build a certification label, as a basis for developing a strong brand for this product.

Through the establishment of the certification mark “Cuc Phuong Golden Camellia”, it will be possible to better manage the planning of growing areas, regulate and control from the beginning the quality of products and services of households, cooperatives, and enterprises when planting, processing and trading products from Cuc Phuong Golden Camellia. This will contribute to building the reputation and prestige of products from Cuc Phuong Golden Camellia in Nho Quan district to develop faster, stronger and more sustainably, becoming a new production and business industry.

Therefore, the establishment, protection of certification marks and development of the golden tea brand will contribute to protecting the rights of growers, producers, processors and traders of golden tea services. Up to now, the certification mark "Cuc Phuong Golden Tea" has been granted a trademark by the Department of Intellectual Property.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology awarded the Certificate of registration of the certification trademark for the product "Cuc Phuong Golden Flower Tea" to the People's Committee of Nho Quan district as the owner; the representative of the leaders of Nho Quan district awarded the Certificate of right to use the certification trademark "Cuc Phuong Golden Flower Tea" to Vu Gia Medicinal Materials Company Limited and Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung's household (Nho Quan).
