Competition "Culinary quintessence of the ancient capital"

Joining the atmosphere of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025, on the morning of May 29, at Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area, the Provincial Women's Union organized the "Culinary Quintessence of the Ancient Capital" Contest.

Comrade Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 attended.

The contest had 27 members from 7 teams of the Women's Union of districts and cities.

With careful preparation from choosing ingredients, preparing dishes and presenting products, the teams brought to the contest unique and sophisticated dishes, bearing the cultural imprint of each locality.

Not only attractive in flavor, color, and presentation, each dish also contains historical stories, traditional cultural beauty, creativity, and dedication of talented women in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.

The judges scored the teams' presentations.

The contest " Culinary quintessence of the ancient capital" was organized to contribute to affirming that cuisine is not only the art of processing, but also the crystallization of culture, history, and soul of Ninh Binh people through thousands of years of construction and development.

Through that, it arouses pride, awareness of preserving and promoting traditional culinary cultural values ​​among cadres, women's union members and people of all walks of life .

At the same time, contributing to introducing and promoting the culinary quintessence of the ancient capital to a large number of domestic and international friends and tourists, contributing to building the image of Ninh Binh - a millennium heritage city.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 prize for the Quintessence of Ancient Capital cuisine to the team of the Hoa Lu City Women's Union ; 2 prizes for the Distinctive Flavors of the Ancient Capital ; 3 prizes for the Colors of Ancient Capital cuisine and 1 prize for the Quintessence of Ancient Capital cuisine succession.
