Leaders of the Department of Health presented gifts to the Provincial Center for Social Protection and Work

On May 30, on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, leaders of the Department of Health visited and presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to children being cared for and raised at the Provincial Center for Social Protection and Work.

Currently, the Center is managing and caring for 19 children in especially difficult circumstances. Over the years, the Center has overcome many difficulties to effectively carry out the management, care,education , career guidance, and rehabilitation of children in especially difficult circumstances, children with HIV, and children with disabilities being raised at the Center. Children are guided and tutored in cultural studies, personality education, personal hygiene, sports, cultural arts, etc. Every year, 100% of the children go to the next grade, the rate of good and excellent students is always from 27-56%, and no child falls into social evils. For children who have finished high school or those who do not have the need to study further, the Center connects them to vocational training, equipping them with a job before leaving the center to return to their families.

Along with that, the Center always receives attention, support from the province's policies, the companionship and help of organizations and individuals with kind hearts both materially and spiritually, demonstrated through very practical activities such as: Giving clothes, books, school supplies, bicycles, granting scholarships... From the kindness and care of the community, it has added motivation and resources for the children to overcome difficult circumstances and rise up in life.

The leaders of the Department of Health expressed their joy and excitement at the results that the Center has achieved in nurturing and caring for children in especially difficult circumstances. At the same time, they presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee; encouraged the children being cared for at the Center, and wished them a happy Children's Day and a joyful, safe, and happy summer.
