Specifically, on National Highway 18 through Chi Linh, there are 12 intersections with level crossings, National Highway 37 has 12 intersections, and on Provincial Road 398B there are 3 intersections. These intersections have not been equipped with traffic lights, speed bumps, hazard warning lights, lighting, etc.

Regarding road and railway intersections, the Kep – Ha Long railway has 7 intersections, and the Yen Vien – Pha Lai – Ha Long – Cai Lan railway has 8 intersections. Most of the intersections are degraded asphalt concrete roads, with rough road surfaces that pose many potential risks of traffic accidents.

To ensure safety, the People's Committee of Chi Linh City proposed that the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee support 12.78 billion VND to overcome the above shortcomings. Of which, nearly 3.8 billion VND will be used to install 2 traffic light systems on National Highway 18 through Van An and Hoang Tien wards; install speed bumps and warning lights at the remaining 26 locations. For the repair of road and railway intersections, the People's Committee of Chi Linh City proposed pouring asphalt concrete or cement concrete on the adjacent parts, with an estimated cost of about 9 billion VND...
