DETAILS New school year opening ceremony

On the morning of September 5, 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will hold the Opening Ceremony of the new school year combined with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), broadcast live on VTV1 and connected online to all educational institutions nationwide. This is a special event, marking the historical milestone of the industry, and at the same time creating momentum for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Ministry of Education and Training directs the organization of the Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year in conjunction with the 80th Anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education.

Implementing the 2025 Work Plan and with the consent of the Party and State leaders, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize 80th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) Combined Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year in the morning 05/09/2025 at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ).

The program will be Live broadcast on VTV1 channel and online connection to all educational and training institutions nationwide

To ensure successful organization, the Ministry of Education and Training recommends People's Committees of provinces and cities , higher education institutions and vocational education institutions Coordinate the implementation of the following tasks:

Organize the opening ceremony at the same time at educational institutions from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on September 5, 2025, according to Plan No. 1153/KH-BGDDT dated August 8, 2025, coinciding with the Celebration Ceremony at the National Convention Center.

Ensure transmission and equipment to connect online or via VTV1 channel, coordinate with local telecommunications and television units for stable signals, high quality images and sounds.

School-specific activities (if any) need to be concise, ending before 8:00. From 8:00 - 9:30, all delegates, officials, lecturers, students - pupils fully attend the general program, perform the flag-raising ceremony, sing the National Anthem in sync with the Ceremony at the National Convention Center and listen to speeches by Party and State leaders.

Safety assurance : Have plans to respond to weather, ensure security and order, traffic safety and fire prevention.

Strengthen communication on mass media and educational institutions' communication channels, creating a widespread ripple effect throughout the industry.

The Ministry of Education and Training emphasized that this is a very special event, both opening the new school year and commemorating a historical milestone of the industry. Localities and educational institutions need to seriously implement and organize. formal, safe, practical and efficient .
