Through a survey of the 2024 Lunar New Year and Lunar New Year bonuses, there is a clear difference between the highest and lowest bonuses.
The highest bonus is currently going to a worker in Long An province with more than 5.6 billion VND, followed by a bonus of 1 billion VND from a worker at a business in Da Nang...
Previously, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued an official dispatch on the deadline for reporting on the salary and bonus situation of enterprises for employees this year on December 25. Based on the synthesis of reports from localities, the Ministry has just provided specific information on the salary and bonus picture of the whole country.
However, up to this point, the Department of Labor Relations and Wages, Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs has only received very few reports on the situation of wages and Tet bonuses from localities.
According to the Director of the Department of Labor Relations and Wages, localities that are slow to report are mainly provinces and cities with many businesses and a large number of workers working in the area.
According to this unit, normally, when the Lunar New Year and Solar New Year are close together, businesses will provide more specific information sooner. However, this year, the time between the two New Year holidays is quite far apart, so many businesses have not yet clearly defined their Lunar New Year salaries and bonuses. This is also the reason why localities are slow to send reports to the Ministry.
