Details on cutting down on procedures for buying social housing

The resolution aims to remove obstacles, simplify investment procedures, attract businesses and speed up the implementation of the goal of building 1 million social housing units by 2030.

According to the Government 's Proposal, the maximum implementation time for this mechanism is expected to be 75 days, which means a reduction of about 200 days, about 70% reduction in implementation time compared to current regulations.

There are 3 new policies in the draft Resolution compared to the conclusion of the competent authority, including: determining the selling price and rental price of social housing; housing conditions to enjoy social housing support policies; refunding land use fees, compensation costs, resettlement support or deducting financial obligations for social housing investors.
