From Da Nang to Phu Yen, there was also heat but the temperature was lower, fluctuating between 35 - 37 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Agency, from today, April 4, the weather in Hanoi and the Northeast region will gradually cool down. The heat will only last in the Northwest, Thanh Hoa, from Da Nang to Phu Yen and the South, and severe heat will last in the area from Nghe An to Thua Thien Hue.
It is forecasted that around the evening of April 5, a weak cold air mass will move to the North, causing the heat wave to gradually ease and then end. From April 5, the heat wave in Thanh Hoa and Hoa Binh provinces will also gradually ease. In the Northwest region and the area from Nghe An to Phu Yen, the heat wave will ease from April 8.
While the South is still experiencing prolonged heat for many days to come (it is forecasted that it will rain again by the end of May).
