(BDO) On the morning of November 7, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received and worked with Mr. Yeh Ming Yuh, General Director of Polytex Far Eastern Company Limited (Vietnam) on the production, business, investment development and progress of the company's phase II and III expansion project in Binh Duong .

Accordingly, the company invested in building a factory in Bau Bang Industrial Park in 2015, specializing in the production of synthetic fibers, finished textiles and garments with an initial investment capital of 274.2 million USD.

In 2021, the Group expanded the scale of its factory in Bau Bang Industrial Park with an additional registered investment capital of 610 million USD, bringing the total investment capital after the increase to 1.37 billion USD.

In December 2023, the company continued to invest more than 250 million USD in Binh Duong to expand its production line with super durable fiber products (used in the production of seat belts, airbags, tire linings, etc.). After increasing capital, Far Eastern Polytex Co., Ltd. became the largest investment project in the province with 1.54 billion USD.

Regarding the implementation of the company's third investment expansion project, Mr. Yeh Ming Yuh said that the factory is completing the progress as planned. It is expected that the factory will be put into operation by the end of 2025. He also requested the provincial leaders to consider supporting the handling of some problems related to the project approval process and electricity demand.

Speaking to the company's Board of Directors, Mr. Vo Van Minh said that currently, Far Eastern Polytex Company Limited is the enterprise with the largest investment capital in Binh Duong and has been operating with prestige for many years. Faced with the company's difficulties, especially in terms of electricity demand, he requested that the relevant departments and branches actively coordinate and support the company to implement the project quickly and smoothly so that the factory can go into operation.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the Binh Duong provincial government will accompany and support the company to quickly resolve difficulties and obstacles, promoting more effective production in the coming time. At the same time, the province hopes that Far Eastern Polytex Company Limited will continue to produce and do business effectively, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
