Currently, Son La Power Company supplies electricity to more than 358,000 customers in the province. In 2024, the Company ensures safe and stable electricity supply, meeting the needs of socio -economic development and people's daily life. Commercial electricity output in 2024 reaches 852,523 million kWh. The Company actively promotes to customers the use of electricity economically and efficiently, manages load demand, contributing to improving the efficiency of electricity use in the area.

In 2025, Son La Power Company has developed a plan for power supply in the province based on the power grid system, load forecast and priority customer list. Continue to invest in construction and technical management, complete many key projects, such as new 110 kV transformer stations and capacity upgrade projects. The company is implementing 4 projects with a total investment of more than 146 billion VND, contributing to meeting the demand for load growth and ensuring stable power supply.

Son La Power Company continues to propagate and mobilize customers to implement the Directive of the Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on electricity saving, with the goal of administrative units saving 10% of electricity consumption; public lighting saving 30%; industrial production and service business saving 2%...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested Son La Power Company to proactively develop plans to ensure safe and stable power supply, serving the socio-economic development, national defense and security of the locality, especially contributing to the implementation of the province's economic growth target of 8%. Continue to coordinate with departments, branches, sectors and localities to effectively implement the program of economical and efficient use of electricity. Request the Northern Power Corporation to continue to pay attention to investing in the power grid system in Son La province.

On this occasion, the Northern Power Corporation awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 outstanding customers who have made positive contributions to the coordination work to ensure electricity supply in 2024; and presented gifts to large customers, important customers, and administrative and career customers.
