President Luong Cuong went to Nghia Linh mountain to offer incense in memory of the Hung Kings.

On the morning of April 7 (March 10, At Ty year), at Kinh Thien Palace on the top of Nghia Linh mountain in the Hung Kings Temple National Historical Site, the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Tho province, on behalf of compatriots and soldiers nationwide and overseas Vietnamese, solemnly held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings. President Luong Cuong attended and offered incense.

Also attending the incense offering ceremony were Politburo members: Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense.

Also attending were Party Central Committee members: Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Khac Dinh, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Party Central Committee members leading departments, ministries, branches; and leaders of Phu Tho province.

From early morning, on the ceremonial axis, the center of the Hung Temple festival, thousands of people from all over the country and overseas Vietnamese were also present early to offer incense to commemorate the Hung Kings.

Amidst the sound of drums and jubilant music, the incense offering procession with its majestic ceremonial banners, splendid flags, palanquins and offerings departed from the central festival yard through the Nghi Mon, Ha Temple, Trung Temple to Thuong Temple.

Leading the procession was a guard carrying the national flag, festival flags and wreaths bearing the words "Forever grateful to the Hung Kings for their contributions to building the country". Following them were a procession carrying flower baskets and young women wearing red ao dai carrying incense, flowers, offerings and 100 descendants of Lac Hong in ancient costumes, carrying festival flags and a palanquin procession offering offerings. Following them were the delegations of leaders of the Party, State, central agencies, localities; leaders of Phu Tho province and people attending the incense offering ceremony.

At Kinh Thien Palace, on the sacred Nghia Linh mountain, with a sincere heart to pay tribute to the ancestors, President Luong Cuong and other Party, State and local leaders went to the Upper Palace to respectfully offer incense, flowers and offerings, to commemorate and pay tribute to the Hung Kings and ancestors who built and defended the country and prayed for national peace and prosperity, and for the country to become increasingly prosperous and powerful.

On behalf of the people of the whole country, before the spirit of the Hung Kings, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province Bui Van Quang, presiding over the Hung Kings' death anniversary in the year of At Ty 2025, read the congratulatory message affirming: Deeply engrave the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking" and the spirit of "Great national unity", millions of Vietnamese hearts turn to Hung Temple, with a sincere heart to remember their ancestors, to show gratitude to the merits of the Hung Kings, the predecessors who had the merit of building and defending the country; to remember their ancestors, the Hung Kings who opened the source of the nation, established the Van Lang State, built the foundation through eighteen dynasties, and laid the foundation for the nation and people to prosper forever.

Throughout the history of building and defending the country of our people, with the tradition of solidarity and ardent patriotism, successive generations of Lac Hong descendants have gone through many struggles with countless hardships and challenges; fostered the spirit of self-reliance, self-control, self-strengthening and deep national pride and self-respect; created glorious feats, built independence, preserved the country, affirmed sovereignty, and protected national interests.

Continuing the heroic historical tradition, culture, civilization and culture of the nation, over the past 95 years, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, our country and people have promoted the strength of great solidarity and revolutionary heroism, overcome countless hardships and sacrifices; steadfastly fought for independence and freedom, for peace and friendship, for happiness and prosperity, for sovereignty and territorial integrity; and made great victories and achievements in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

The entire Vietnamese people vow to continue the Dragon Fairy tradition, promote to the highest level the spirit of solidarity, independence, self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening with national pride and self-respect combined with the strength of the times; join hands, unite in strong and comprehensive innovation, strive constantly with the highest determination and responsibility, bring the country firmly into a new era: the era of prosperous development of the nation. Realize the aspiration to build a peaceful, prosperous, democratic, fair, civilized, prosperous, and happy Vietnam; stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's great powers; contribute worthily to the peace, stability, and development of the region and the world; glorify the Vietnamese nation.

The Party Committee, Government and people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho province are honored to represent our compatriots nationwide and overseas Vietnamese to preserve the Ancestral Temple, vowing to unite, unify will and action; join hands, join efforts, strive for stability, progress, prosperity and sustainability in the new development space; make worthy contributions to the cause of national construction in the era of national development.

After the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings at the Upper Temple, President Luong Cuong and other Party and State leaders laid wreaths and burned incense at the Hung Kings' Mausoleum; respectfully offered flowers at the bas-relief of Uncle Ho talking to officers and soldiers of the Vanguard Army Corps at the Den Gieng Five-Way Intersection.

Hung King's death anniversary is a solemn holiday with profound and unique cultural identity of the Vietnamese people, an important occasion to promote to the world an extremely valuable and unique heritage that has existed for thousands of years, becoming the traditional morality of our compatriots nationwide and overseas Vietnamese.

This year's Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural-Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land will take place from March 29 to April 7 (March 1-10, At Ty year) at the Hung Temple historical relic site, Viet Tri city and districts and towns in Phu Tho province with many special activities and events. During the Commemoration Day, tens of thousands of people from all over the country and overseas Vietnamese returned to offer incense at the Hung Temple relic site.
