Hanoi City has determined that in the era of big data and digital connectivity, information is no longer “one-way” or “propaganda” but has become a component of state governance, local competitiveness, and a “strategic asset” of the country. The press is not only a communication tool, but also a strategic partner, a companion, a critic, a creator and a spreader of values.

The Hanoi Capital Press Center is invested synchronously with an open, flexible working space, suitable for many types of journalism (written, photo, television, multimedia). Technical infrastructure includes: high-speed transmission network, digital data storage system, information coordination center, live recording and broadcasting studios, video conferencing equipment, electronic boards updating data in real time...
In particular, the Capital Press Center aims to integrate modern technological solutions, such as: artificial intelligence in input and output monitoring, trend monitoring, information analysis in cyberspace, fake news warning system, big data analysis tools to assess the spread of media topics.

In the context of the digital age, which is placing increasing demands on urban management and administration, as well as information and communication management, the establishment of the Hanoi Capital Press Center is one of the strategic solutions to help the Hanoi government proactively grasp, coordinate, process and provide information in a flexible, timely, accurate and suitable manner for modern development trends.
Furthermore, the Capital Press Center is expected to become the focal point for the city's press communication activities, a place to receive, synthesize, process and provide official information from departments, branches, localities to the press and the public. Thereby, contributing to building the image of an electronic, modern, friendly, transparent and people-oriented urban government.
