Opening of Hanoi Capital Press Center applying many AI technologies

On the afternoon of May 9, the Hanoi People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the Hanoi Capital Press Center (at 17 Dien Bien Phu, Ba Dinh District).

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee; Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of Central Propaganda and Education Commission, Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association ; and representatives of many press agencies.

At the ceremony, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee stated that the opening of the Hanoi Capital Press Center is not only an event marking the birth of a modern press institution, but also strongly demonstrates the commitment of the city government in the process of building an "Open - Transparent - Modern" administration, aiming to better serve the people, businesses and the domestic and international press community.

Hanoi City has determined that in the era of big data and digital connectivity, information is no longer “one-way” or “propaganda” but has become a component of state governance, local competitiveness, and a “strategic asset” of the country. The press is not only a communication tool, but also a strategic partner, a companion, a critic, a creator and a spreader of values.
