Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha assessed that this is a very significant event in promoting the industrialization and urbanization process of Binh Dinh province and turning Nhon Hoi Economic Zone into a dynamic coastal economic zone. The planning of Binh Dinh province to 2030 with a vision to 2050 has identified the viewpoint of rapid and sustainable development on the basis of promoting green transformation, digital transformation, and development space transformation. The goal is to develop Binh Dinh into one of the processing and manufacturing industrial centers of the South Central Coast sub-region; a major center of the country in science and technology, innovation, and marine economic development; a national and international tourist center to promote the advantages of geo-economics, natural conditions, and unique socio-economic conditions of Binh Dinh.
Nhon Hoi Economic Zone is identified as a multi-sector, multi-field economic zone, with a focus on tourism, services, urban areas, industry, seaports, renewable energy and fisheries; a growth pole, closely and comprehensively linked to the general development of Quy Nhon city and its vicinity; a center of science and technology, innovation, an important place for applying artificial intelligence in Vietnam; a major tourist center of the country.

Started in September 2020, Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Park is a combination of Becamex IDC Corporation and VSIP Group; located in Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district, Binh Dinh province. The master plan of 1,374 hectares with a total investment of more than 7,500 billion VND, belongs to subdivision 7 of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, including 1,000 hectares of industrial park and 374 hectares of resettlement area, residential area, trade and service area.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Park is a very new model, requiring a systematic and synchronous approach and with the mindset of digital transformation and green transformation, it is necessary to thoroughly resolve the relationship between economic development and environmental protection. In particular, it is necessary to implement the motto of keeping the environment in harmony with the natural ecosystem and environmental sanitation. This is the world's trend of choosing transformation. Therefore, the Deputy Prime Minister clearly stated that this is the orientation and prerequisite in developing the model of concentrated Industrial-Urban-Service Park.
The Deputy Prime Minister clearly emphasized the need to change thinking, approach digital transformation thinking, green infrastructure for leading enterprises in the field of investment and development of industrial park infrastructure. In terms of industrial development, Becamex and VSIP need to be pioneers in this transformation and need to build their own criteria, new criteria, as a basis for choosing green technology, clean technology, and smart eco-industrial parks.
Industrial parks must be places for research, application of science and technology, innovation and creativity. Therefore, the criteria for selecting investors must be investors with green technology, clean technology, commitment to technology conversion and transfer; and investment in research and development here.

Along with that, the Industrial Park must not emit gases exceeding the standard into the environment, solid waste must be treated and recycled. Planning and investment in developing urban areas associated with industry must aim towards green, smart, sustainable, and unique urban areas with a synchronous infrastructure system.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, high-quality human resources are an attractive factor for investors. The province needs to have mechanisms and policies to encourage talent and mobilize human resources to create new motivation, create an attractive living environment with diverse requirements of experts and scientists, become a place worth living, worth visiting, and contribute to development.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the success of investors is the success of the locality and the State. That brings jobs, livelihoods and conditions for enjoying social services, aiming at the people; at the same time, he suggested that Binh Dinh attach importance to administrative reform, improve the investment environment, and support the business community. In particular, the province needs to promptly implement the approved Provincial Planning to promote and introduce it to businesses and investors.
Together with the Government, Binh Dinh needs to propose important projects in regional and intra-regional connectivity; continue to improve connectivity, including international aviation, international seaports, and railways, including the East-West Economic Corridor, National Highway 19 - this is the international connection point between Binh Dinh, the Central Highlands provinces and Cambodia. If this is done, Binh Dinh will have the mission of being the gateway connecting this region with the world.

Emphasizing that Binh Dinh province and the Industrial Park need to persistently convert to green energy, clean energy, and renewable energy because this is an attractive point to attract future investors, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha wished Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Park success, attracting strategic investors with technological potential to invest, bringing high added value.
It is known that Binh Dinh province, Becamex IDC Investment and Industrial Development Corporation and partners have made efforts to complete phase 1 with an area of about 230 hectares ready for secondary investors and have successfully attracted 4 FDI projects from the Federal Republic of Germany, Hong Kong (China), South Korea and the Netherlands, with a total area of 53 hectares and a total investment capital of 96 million USD; put into use 90 hectares of residential land to serve the needs of resettlement and living in the locality.
At the inauguration ceremony, an investment cooperation signing ceremony took place between Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh and its partners (BW Industrial Development Joint Stock Company invested 25 million USD; Logiform Company Limited invested 10 million USD; King Honor Paper Products Manufacturing Company Limited invested 6 million USD; Kung Jui Mechanical Company Limited invested 8 million USD).
