Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man shared the country's outstanding achievements in 2024 and key tasks to be implemented in 2025. At the same time, he acknowledged and praised the contributions of the Party Committee, government and people of Can Tho City, Ninh Kieu District and Tan An Ward.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man noted that the city's budget revenue is still not commensurate with its potential, position and advantages. The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the city focus on investing in infrastructure development, applying science and technology, digital transformation and green transformation to promote development. The city needs to review and evaluate the implementation of the targets and tasks set for the 2020-2025 term.

The National Assembly Chairman hopes that the Party Committee, government and people of Can Tho City, Ninh Kieu District and Tan An Ward will continue to take care of policy families, poor households and households in difficult circumstances. This will be a regular task and not just focused on holidays and Tet.
