Bamboo Airways Chairman and General Director Resign Together

Bamboo Airways Joint Stock Company (Bamboo Airways) announced that the Board of Directors (BOD) of the company has approved the resignation of Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Luong Hoai Nam - General Director of the company since August 13. Both of them have resigned from their positions for personal reasons.

To ensure smooth and stable operations, Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors also issued a resolution approving the election and appointment of replacement leaders.

Accordingly, Mr. Le Thai Sam takes the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, replacing Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh and Mr. Truong Phuong Thanh takes the position of General Director, replacing Mr. Luong Hoai Nam from August 13.

Mr. Sam joined Bamboo Airways in 2022 and quickly became the airline's largest shareholder. During his tenure as Chairman of the Board of Directors (July 2023 - February 2024) and then as Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, he actively accompanied and made many important contributions to the management and operation of the airline, especially during the period of transformation and comprehensive restructuring.

Meanwhile, Mr. Truong Phuong Thanh is an aviation expert with nearly 30 years of experience, having held many leadership positions at major aviation enterprises. Working with Bamboo Airways from 2019 to 2024 as Deputy General Director, Mr. Thanh is in charge of many key areas, especially ground operations.

Previously in June, he returned to the position of Deputy General Director, continuing to contribute to improving service quality and operational efficiency.
