On the afternoon of November 15th, Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, and delegates from constituency No. 10 of the Hanoi National Assembly delegation met with voters in nine communes in the former Me Linh and Soc Son districts to inform them about the results of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly.
Speaking at the conference, Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, said that this was a special meeting because it was the final session of the 15th National Assembly. The session had passed many laws and resolutions related to social life.

According to Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, what was once seen as a "bottleneck" or "weakness" in the institutional framework has now become a strength after the Politburo issued Resolution 66 on reforming the work of lawmaking and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era, giving the whole country the opportunity to accelerate and develop faster in the new period.
"This was evident in the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, with a large volume of laws. In particular, the spirit conveyed in many important laws is more in line with reality, the pulse of life, and the aspirations of the people," said Mr. Tran Sy Thanh.
Sharing his personal perspective, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh said that he ran for and became a representative of the National Assembly delegation from Lang Son province. He later transferred to the National Assembly delegation from Hanoi. After 3 years and 4 months as Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh was elected Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee of the 13th Party Congress. During his meetings with constituents in Hanoi (in 2022), he observed that many officials were hesitant to propose, lacked the courage to suggest, or didn't boldly present initiatives...
Fortunately, after that period, Hanoi in general, and especially the staff of departments, agencies, and communes and wards, became bolder, more decisive, and more willing to propose solutions in their work. Currently, Hanoi has the strongest system of mechanisms ever. "For example, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee at this time has the authority to decide on major issues without any limitations on scale. All authority has been delegated by the National Assembly to the City People's Council."
The Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee assessed that Hanoi has never had such a large and elite team of officials as it does today. Furthermore, Hanoi enjoys high levels of public support, with citizens sharing the burden with the government during difficult times, natural disasters, and epidemics; encouraging the government and officials to remain steadfast, especially during the A80 incident. This demonstrates unity, safety, and sharing.
With favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and people, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh expressed his belief that Hanoi will achieve its desired growth targets, ensure national defense and security, maintain social order, and develop according to the aspirations of the people of the capital city.
