On August 11, My Daily exclusively reported on BlackPink's comeback. Accordingly, the group is expected to release a new mini album in November 2025.
If confirmed, this will be the group's first full-length comeback in more than three years since their second studio album Born Pink , released on September 16, 2022, with the title track Shut Down .
A productive year for BlackPink
It is known that the group has completed the album cover photo shoot and is in the process of recording and producing all new songs within the next two months.
The current schedule shows that BlackPink will rest after the show in London on August 16, which is also the last leg of the first stage of the Deadline World Tour, and continue the tour in Kaohsiung on October 18.
"BlackPink is forced to release an album this year. It was originally scheduled to be released in October, but due to schedule changes, the group is aiming for November and may participate in some music shows to promote" - an industry source revealed to My Daily .

Previously, on the occasion of their 9th debut anniversary, BlackPink released the single Jump on July 11. The song was first performed at Goyang Stadium, with a Western cowboy feel, catchy guitar melodies, and the individual vocals of each member.
Immediately after its release, the song quickly topped many domestic and international charts.
Jump not only took the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global, but also debuted at No. 28 on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In the UK, the group continued to break their own record by entering the top 20 on the Official Singles Chart at number 18.

In parallel with their musical activities, BlackPink is also in the process of completing a world tour with 31 shows in 16 major cities. The group has had successful shows with stages in Goyang, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan and Barcelona.
In November alone, the group will have 6 shows in Jakarta, Bulacan, and Singapore. This makes fans worried that if the comeback is true, BlackPink will not have a promotional stage in Korea because of their busy schedule abroad.
Before the above information, BlackPink's management company - YG Entertainment hinted: "We will make an official announcement through the following promotional channels."
