Prepare conditions to ensure medical work and food safety to serve the 20th Congress of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 20230

On the afternoon of August 13, the Department of Health held a meeting with its affiliated units to prepare conditions to ensure medical work and food safety (FS) for the 20th Congress of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-20230. To ensure medical and food safety work serving the Congress, the Department of Health has assigned specific tasks to its affiliated units . Accordingly, The Food Safety and Hygiene Department is assigned to proactively prepare human resources, equipment and rapid testing kits. The Department will organize inspections and supervision of all dining locations serving delegates and related forces 3 days before the Congress, and at the same time check food safety before each meal during the event. All food samples must be kept according to regulations and the Department must organize 24/7 duty to ensure food safety.

Regarding disease prevention, the Center for Disease Control is responsible for closely monitoring the situation of infectious diseases, preparing human resources, chemicals and equipment. The Center will plan to spray disinfectants at the venue and the delegates' accommodation 3 days in advance, and arrange 02 Rapid Response Teams on duty 24/7 and 02 body temperature measuring machines ready when required.

For emergency and treatment, Cao Bang General Hospital will prepare 02 Mobile Medical Teams with 02 ambulances, fully equipped with equipment, medicine, and human resources (each team includes 01 doctor, 01 nurse, 01 pharmacist, and 01 driver). These teams will be on duty 24/7 at the Congress venue and the delegates' accommodation from the time of convocation until the end. At the Hospital, the Internal Medicine Department A must prepare 10 hospital beds, including 02 rooms for mid- and high-ranking officials. The Provincial Health Protection Center under the Hospital will play a role in coordinating emergency and medical examination and treatment activities. In addition, the Traditional Medicine - Rehabilitation General Hospital and the Cao Bang Medical Center each prepare 01 Medical Team with 01 ambulance to be ready to participate when required.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nong Tuan Phong, Director of the Department of Health, requested the leaders of the units to assign specific tasks to each group and individual, prepare human and material resources, clearly understand and closely follow the list of delegates; urge and coordinate to complete the tasks well, ensure health care for the delegates attending. At the same time, assign the Provincial General Hospital and the Center for Disease Control to organize training for health sector human resources to be ready to respond to possible situations.
