On the afternoon of May 12, the Provincial Military Command held a conference to approve the plan and deploy the task of the Ha Tinh Provincial Defense Area Exercise (KVPT) in 2023.

According to the report, the units and localities participating in the 2023 Provincial KVPT exercise have proactively advised the Party Committee and authorities to conduct surveys to select locations and organize the construction of tunnel and fortification systems, estimated to have reached over 70% of the progress, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations. Actively coordinate with forces participating in the field exercise to build a system of fortifications, battlefields, fire command positions and complete works in the command post to ensure quality and on schedule... Strive to complete the construction of the command post at all levels before June 30; in July, the field exercise plan will be approved; from August 1, be ready to enter the exercise.
