On the morning of November 9, Hong Linh High School solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 40th anniversary (1985-2025) with the participation of Major General Doan Xuan Buong - Political Commissar of Military Region 4.

Hong Linh High School was established in August 1985 under Decision No. 1544 of the People's Committee of Nghe Tinh province. In the first school year, the school had 258 students with 4 grade 10 classes and 3 grade 11 classes. With the attention of the Party Committee and authorities at all levels, the scale of the school was increasingly expanded, and teaching equipment was invested in.

In 2020, in response to new requirements for education and training in the area, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province decided to merge Hong Lam High School into Hong Linh High School. From a unit with difficulties in enrollment and low input quality, thanks to breakthrough solutions, Hong Linh High School has gradually affirmed its brand and position.
Through the process of construction and development, up to now, the school has 39 classes with more than 1,400 students. The facilities are spacious, complete, modern, convenient for activities. The quality of education is constantly improved.

Since its establishment, Hong Linh High School has had 3 teachers awarded the title of Excellent Teacher by the State; 16 students won prizes in national exams and competitions. Many students are valedictorians of the top universities in the country, along with thousands of excellent students at the provincial level, tens of thousands of students passing university entrance exams, and for many years in a row, the school's graduation rate has always been 100%.
In recognition of its contributions to the development journey, Hong Linh High School has been recognized by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province as a national standard school three times in the periods: 2012 - 2017, 2017 - 2022 and 2024 - 2029. For many consecutive years, the school has achieved the title of excellent labor collective, and has been awarded certificates of merit and emulation flags by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In the coming time, the school needs to continue to promote the strength of solidarity, make efforts to achieve the goal of training human resources and developing talents for the homeland. In particular, the school needs to proactively develop a plan to concretize Resolution No. 71, dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development.
Continue to carry out the task of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country. Encourage teachers to proactively explore and research the application of science and technology, new methods in teaching, especially continuing to focus on innovating teaching methods, testing and assessment forms in the direction of developing learners' qualities and capacities. Effectively implement the 2018 General Education Program, focusing on synchronous solutions, creating a breakthrough in education and training development, building Hong Linh High School into one of the top high schools in the province in terms of educational quality.

Also on the morning of November 9, Ky Anh High School solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 60th anniversary of establishment, construction and development (1965-2025).
Attending the ceremony were Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee Truong Thanh Huyen; leaders of departments, branches, Song Tri ward and generations of teachers and students of the school.
On September 12, 1965, the Ha Tinh Provincial Administrative Committee issued a decision to establish Ky Anh High School. The school was established when American planes began bombing the North. Ky Anh District was the gathering place for soldiers, youth volunteers, weapons, and food to cross Deo Ngang Pass to the battlefield in the South. Therefore, finding a place to build the school was extremely difficult.
In just the first 5 years (1965 – 1970), the school had to evacuate 5 times to 6 different locations. The first location was Ky Thu commune; immediately following were Ky Giang, Ky Tien, Ky Xuan, Ky Khang and Ky Van.
Initially, the school had 3 classes (two 8th grade classes, one 9th grade class) with 135 students. This was the first high school in Ky Anh district. During the resistance war to protect the country, thousands of teachers and generations of students of the school enthusiastically joined the army.
The country was unified, overcoming the difficulties of the post-war period, Ky Anh High School had new steps of development. In 1977, the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Ky Anh District decided to choose Con Cum (Ky Hung Commune, now Song Tri Ward) as the location for the school's long-term stability and development.
From 2007 to present, the school has maintained 45 classes, a total of more than 100 staff, teachers and employees, more than 2,000 students, the highest number of students in the high school sector of the whole province.
Over the past 60 years, the school has trained nearly 24,000 students, many of whom have become leading scientists, including nationally and internationally renowned scientists.
From simple classrooms made of bamboo, reed, and leaves, up to now, the school's facilities have become more and more spacious and modernized thanks to investment resources from the budget and contributions from the people; the environmental landscape is guaranteed to be green - clean - beautiful - safe, gradually building a friendly school and moving towards a happy school.
Many generations of students of the school attended the ceremony.
In recognition of its achievements during the process of construction and development, the school has been awarded the Labor Medal of first, second and third class by the President three times; the excellent emulation flag by the Government four times; and the certificate of merit by the Government, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Department of Education and Training 126 times... From 2007 to present, the school has been recognized as meeting national standards.
Entering a new stage, the staff, teachers and students of Ky Anh High School continue to innovate and be creative in teaching and learning, effectively implementing Resolution 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; at the same time responding to emulation movements to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, determined to build a friendly and happy school, contributing to the development of the education sector of Ha Tinh province.
