Present at the scene, Colonel Vo Quang Thien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Command of Ha Tinh province - and Colonel Hoang Anh Tu - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Military Command of Ha Tinh province - directed the forces to deploy relief work, visit, encourage and support people in flooded areas.

The provincial armed forces coordinated with the Defense Command of Region 3 - Ky Anh and the Border Guard to be on duty on the spot, supporting the local evacuation of deeply flooded households to safer high-rise buildings for shelter.

On the same morning, the Provincial Military Command mobilized more than 600 boxes of instant noodles, dry food and 300 boxes of bottled mineral water, totaling over 100 million VND, to provide emergency support to people in flooded areas.

Cam Due Commune is located in the downstream area of Ke Go Lake, which continuously experienced heavy rain from the night of October 29 to November 1. The overflow from Ke Go Lake combined with floodwaters rising from Ngan Mo River caused the entire commune to have 2,950 households flooded. Local authorities urgently evacuated about 795 households (1,395 people) to safety.

On National Highway 8C, the section passing through Cam Due Commune, many locations were flooded 60-70cm deep, cutting off traffic. Authorities have put up warning signs and temporarily blocked traffic to ensure safety.
