The market turned around and had a slight correction session on November 25. At the close, VN-Index lost 7.62 points, equivalent to a decrease of 0.46%, ending the session at 1,660.36 points.
The index was supported by pillar stocks for most of the trading session and surpassed the 1,670-point mark. Similar to yesterday's session, the index was green even though most stocks on the floor were still red. Until the second half of the session, from 2 p.m., selling pressure increased and pushed the index below the reference level.
HoSE recorded only 75 stocks increasing in price while the number of stocks decreasing was 3 times higher. In VN30 basket, the number of stocks decreasing was also dominant throughout the session.
Previously, only 8 stocks increasing in price were enough to carry the whole VN30 basket, the index was still green. In the afternoon session, some stocks deteriorated such as HPG, MWG, STB, VRE, the whole basket had 5 stocks increasing and could no longer balance the price decrease side.
Looking at the heat map of the entire market, in the largest capitalization group, we can only see green in VIC, HDB, VPL and VJC.
