The program includes cultural and artistic activities, medical screening with specialties of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Dermatology, Ultrasound, Electrocardiography, Musculoskeletal System, free medicine and gifts for 700 poor people, meritorious people, sick people, disadvantaged people, disabled people in Khanh Tien, Khanh An, Khanh Hoi, Khanh Hoa communes, 100 people each commune; Khanh Lam, Nguyen Phich communes, 150 people each commune. Each gift includes: rice, instant noodles and many other necessities, worth about 500 thousand VND.
U Minh district leaders and volunteer group leaders met with doctors participating in the medical examination program.
The program also gave 500 gifts to poor students in difficult circumstances in Khanh Tien and Khanh An communes, 50 students each; Khanh Lam, Nguyen Phich, Khanh Hoi, Khanh Hoa communes, 100 students each. Each gift included: school bags, books, school supplies and 100,000 VND in cash, helping the children have more conditions to go to school.

In addition, the program also organizes folk games, provides free shopping vouchers for students, free haircuts for all teams, and especially arranges many booths providing free food and drinks for everyone who comes to participate in the program.
The total value of gifts and activities of this program is nearly 2 billion VND.

Ms. Tran Thi Danh, representative of the program's coordinating board, shared: “We coordinate with U Minh district to organize this program for community health, to help children go to school, and to connect benefactors to support difficult circumstances in the district. Thereby, we arouse the moral and humane values and the good tradition of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, we raise awareness and change the behavior of self-care, disease prevention for the community; provide material and spiritual support for policy families, people with revolutionary contributions, poor and near-poor households and poor students who overcome difficulties to study well, encourage them to try and strive to rise up, thereby creating trust and excitement for the people".

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of U Minh district, thanked the philanthropists and donors for bringing to the people of U Minh district a very warm and meaningful charity program; at the same time, he hoped that the delegation would continue to pay attention and create conditions to organize more charity programs for the poor people of U Minh district, in order to join hands with the district to do a good job of social security work.
