A series of "explosive" effects for Quang Ninh tourism to "take off" in the last months of the year

Large-scale cultural and artistic programs... help Quang Ninh gradually build its brand and affirm its "made in Quang Ninh" status, opening up opportunities for the cultural industry to develop.

As one of the localities that always ranks at the top of the country in terms of the number of visitors and revenue from tourism services, in the fourth quarter of 2025, the Quang Ninh tourism industry has been building a plan to organize a series of attractive cultural, sports and tourism events to stimulate demand and attract tourists.

The "explosive" marks

In the last months of the year, Quang Ninh will continue to be the center of many large-scale cultural and sports events, spread across many localities. Notably, the art music night "Ha Long Concert 2025" that took place recently created an "explosive" effect on mass media and social networking platforms, creating strong momentum for the following events.

In addition, special events such as the Quang Ninh Food Festival 2025 and the Luc Hon Golden Season Festival that were just held also created positive effects. The Quang Ninh Food Festival (October 30 - November 2) alone attracted about 50,000 people and tourists to attend, turning the event into a vibrant meeting point of the Autumn-Winter beach tourism season.

Luc Hon Golden Season Festival, Binh Lieu Commune is a highlight that brings tourists to participate in unique cultural and tourism activities of ethnic minorities in the border area of ​​Quang Ninh such as harvesting rice on terraced fields, attending the New Rice Celebration of the Tay people, experiencing paragliding "Flying over the Golden Season", trekking to conquer Cao Xiem peak, enjoying specialties and highland cuisine...

These are efforts by local authorities to extend the length of stay and attract visitors to the season considered the low season of Quang Ninh tourism through the lens of cuisine, festivals and emotional sublimation with the people of the mining land.

According to the plan, from November 10-16, 2025, at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace and October 30 Square (Ha Long Ward), a series of large-scale cultural, artistic, sports and tourism events will take place to celebrate the 89th anniversary of the Mining Workers' Tradition Day - "Indomitable Mining Land" Day November 12 (1936-2025). The highlight is the program "Quang Ninh - Heroic Mining Land" taking place at 8:00 p.m. on November 12 at October 30 Square.

The 120-minute program is a blend of music - circus - reportage and modern performance, bringing together leading artists such as: People's Artist Quang Tho, singers Trong Tan, Ho Ngoc Ha, Den Vau, Hoang Thuy Linh, Bich Phuong, Toc Tien, Truc Nhan, (S) Trong Hieu, Quang Hung MasterD, Do Hoang Hiep, Ryhder, Violist Tran Quang Duy, Oplus group, Vietnam Circus Federation... with the expectation of creating a grandiose art space, "exploding" with emotions.

The program is expected to attract over 30,000 attendees and millions of viewers via television and digital platforms. Free tickets will be distributed to residents and tourists inside and outside the province.

The highlight of the local performing arts activities in the fourth quarter is the Special Music Festival, scheduled to be held from November 15-21 at October 30 Square, attracting about 10,000 participants with the participation of famous singers: Soobin, Truc Nhan, Tang Phuc, Jun Pham, DJ Wokeup; art experience spaces, interactive games, cuisine and music festivals. On December 30, the Countdown art program to welcome the new year 2026 will also take place, expected to attract 15,000 participants.

“Made in Quang Ninh” strategy

It can be seen that large-scale cultural, artistic and sports programs have helped Quang Ninh gradually build its brand as a land of festivals, affirming the class of "made in Quang Ninh", opening up opportunities for the development of the cultural industry, where not only local people but also tourists can enjoy the cultural and artistic values ​​of the nation.

In addition to the world heritage Ha Long Bay, which is a famous brand with unique cultural and culinary art products, Ms. Nguyen Huyen Anh, Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, said that this locality also has a very large sea area in the Van Don area, Bai Tu Long Bay, and the Co To island sea area, which is being developed with the orientation of turning this area into a resort tourism center. Because there are special cultural and historical factors associated with the lives of people who have settled there for a long time, enough to create a very unique identity for the residents of the Northeast coastal region of the country.

“We are also offering tourism products such as scuba diving, coral viewing, or visitors can take a helicopter from Ha Long to visit the entire Co To sea area in a short period of time,” said Ms. Nguyen Huyen Anh.

In particular, according to the leader of the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, in this sea area there is Van Don trading port, one of the oldest trading ports in Vietnam, where our ancestors developed to access trade with the world. On the other hand, in Co To there is also the famous Quan Lan communal house, associated with indigenous cultural festivals, which are the "material" to develop tourism associated with indigenous culture.

With such a series of unique activities and methodical development orientation, leaders of Quang Ninh tourism industry expect that in the fourth quarter of 2025, the local smokeless industry will strive to welcome 4.09 million visitors, including 1.25 million international visitors, with total tourism revenue reaching 12,760 billion VND./.

From now until the end of 2025, Quang Ninh will continue to be the center of many large-scale cultural and sports events, spread across many localities. Exciting and attractive sports programs are also expected to be held such as: Quang Ninh Province Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival (November 2025); "Shining Dragon Bay" Lighting Festival (December 2025);

Halong Bay Heritage Marathon (November 20-25, 2025); Heritage Run - Touching the Heritage Area (November 2025); Grand Slam Program Halong Bay with Korea (November 2025); International Puppetry Festival (November 2025).

In particular, at the end of the year, the locality will organize a live television program to receive the Certificate of Recognition of "Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac, Vietnam" as a World Cultural Heritage, expected to attract 20,000 participants.
